Michael Shanahan

Meet Michael Shanahan, Mortgage Loan Originator at Canal Bank. Michael joined the mortgage lending team in May 2026 and brings four years of banking experience, along with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and making the home buying process as smooth as possible.

 

A lifelong Erie County resident now living in Williamsville, Michael graduated from Ithaca College in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree. He is also a member of the Emerging Business Leaders class through the Chamber of Commerce and is passionate about serving the community he calls home. In his free time, Michael enjoys walking his dog, playing sports, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres.
